BOMBOLLERS, GROUP OF PERCUSSION.

Bombollers is a cultural association that consists in playing drums . It is a group of 26 people and some of them play the drum the basic instrument of the group but there are others instruments too, like bells (agogos) and “ganzar” are metallic instruments or the “tambori” that is a little instrument that you have to play it with a “latigo”, or the “repenique” it is like a drum made with aluminum and it sound are acute and others instruments that people can play. They rehearse on Friday night at ten. Sometimes they go to the street to play and make lively street when there is an important celebration.  

The most important event of Cervera: Aquelarre

The last Saturday of August, Cervera is a new city, where the demons and the witches come to life, fire and party are the activities you can see the most during this days, and the night is the new type of life for the people. Aquelarre is the most important event in Cervera because thousands of people are coming to this city of terror.

During the days of Aquelarre, that are four, lots of people come to the city and change the aspect because in the rest of the year many streets are empty. But if you want to enjoy a magical night, mysterious, whit surprises and parties you don’t miss this big festival of Aquelarre.

Carnival at BB2

Taking advantage of the celebration of the Carnival this Saturday 18^th in Cervera, BB2 Pub organized a dress contest. All the people that wore a fancy dress could participate and win one of the three prizes given by the pub. Individually or in groups, people were showing their costume and a jury voted the best. Each participant did his performance and after the jury delivery, the first prize was to a group of girls called “Cheerverines” who wore like cheerleaders, the second went to three boys that represented LMFAO singers and the third prize was for a couple who wore like main characters from Grease film. In BB2, every Saturday is a big party and for this reason it has become the pub star of the Cervera’s nights.

No body can stop C.E.Cervera!

This year the football team of Cervera is the best team in the competition.  This week again C.E.Cervera is in the first place of classification in the group 5 in second Catalan division. The difference with the second team of the table is 11 points, logically is the most scorer with 57 goals although it has got 21 goals against. If it finishes this season in the first place, it will pass to higher category again. To reach the target what is necessary the constance and hard work of all team with the help of the trainer. And never forget the fans.

Youth People of Cervera

“L’Assemblea de Joves de Cervera” (The Youth Assembly Cervera) compound group of young people of Cervera who meet weekly to discuss and address issues that affect us as young people. However, trying to offer a range of activities, most of which form organized-self, with the aim of making them known, provide an alternative to the usual routine of young Cervera and, ultimately, advance towards the revitalization of this sector of the population, always from a perspective understands the realities that affect us as individuals, people, and gender. This awareness is what drives us away from the passivity and indifference to the reality that surrounds us and gives rise to our motto: “For a lively and combative Cervera”
